Fall

So, to comment first, that I noticed a strange pattern in my blogs recently.  As I was looking over them, I noticed that every other one was written on a day that I was feeling amazing, and the others were written on days that I felt confused.  I found that to be incredibly funny, actually.  I dont usually see myself as that type of up and down person, but maybe I really am….who knew?

Anyways, I guess seeing as how the last one was on a day of confusion, it only follows that this one should be good ;) So here it goes:

I really like fall.  Although, I know its not fall yet, I still love the feel of it all.  I noticed over the past few years, I come to think of every season that comes around to be my favorite at that time.  Well, fall is my favorite season right now.  The brisk winds and cool walks. The changing, continuously falling leaves.  The way the clouds in the sky seem to just stand still, and yet seem so crisp.  The way the sun reflects through those clouds, and creates an endless aray of shadows and brightness.  Everything in fall seems so, clear.  Its all so defined, and “picture perfect”.

Today I went to the lake at the park, and I almost fell over with joy.  The picture was wondeful.  The clouds over the lake. The lake having a small number of ripples as the other bank of the lake was shining radiant with the setting sun.  To the left of this “picture” that I see, is a rainbow, as clear as can be.  The rainbow ends on the shore where the land is radiating a red glow, from the sunset.  It was so incredibly peaceful and magnificiant.  I wish I would have been able to share it with others because it was the likes of which most people will never be able to see.  It was just to perfect.  I wish I would have been able to frame it and keep it forever.  That, to me, was the begining of fall.

Add on to the wonderful nature the other things associated with fall.  One, my favorite, is apple cider.  I love apple cider.  I dont think there is a greater feeling in the world than sitting in a comfortable chair with a cup of apple cider and either watching football, or looking outside, or reading a book, or writing….or anything.   The apple cider makes it all :)    I am so glad the season is kind of here already.

*sigh*
