Hey
This was a good weekend. I went home Thursday night and saw the John Marshall High School production of Little Women. I was very impressed with alot of the acting. To all of you who were in that, and who are reading this, very nice job. On a side note to that, this was the first time I had been back to JM since the reconstruction of the main entrance. It looks REALLY different. It really took me by suprise, and I really didnt feel like I was in the same high school. Crazy.
On Friday I took a little trip to the twin cities to see one of the greatest bands in the history of history…Guster. I think I am still riding the high of excitement from that night. The concert was so amazing, I cant even describe it. My favorite part was the last song when they sang “Jesus on the Radio” accousticly. It was really something to be a part of a crowd of 2200 people being really quiet while the band sang with no Microphones and no electric guitars. We were standing near the back of the theatre, and I had no problem hearing it. It was AMAZING. *Sigh*
I went back home Saturday morning and just hung out at home until that night, when I went to see Reckless at RCTC. I was really really really impressed. I honestly had no idea that a play put on by a community college, and that showcased many of my friends could be so amazing. To any of you who had any part in that show…..wow. Sam, Ethan and Alexi….I dont know if this sounds bad, but I had no idea you all were that good at acting. Very cool. It was awesome. Very well done.
So, to sum it up. My weekend was full of very fine performances of all kinds. I could have asked for alot more. Thank you to all who were in any way a part of it.
