Can you believe…

…that I forgot I had a blog?  I literally was cleaning through my files on my computer when I ran across something that mentioned my blog, and I almost smacked myself. I cant believe I forgot about it, and along with that, I forgot about everyone else’s.   I have a lot of catching up to do.  My apoligies to all of my you loyal readers out there who wake up every morning anticipating the reading of my blog, only to be disappointed by the overwhelming void that is my blog.  I hope this entry will satisfy you.

Wow, its been over a month since I looked at this thing.  So much has happened in a month, its not even funny.  Hmmm…  Actually, I don’t think I am going to write anything about what has happened to me in this past month.  No.  Actually, I think I will just ramble for a few sentences:

I am coming home this Saturday, which is kind of exciting.  I am going to be busy with my new found interest: Practicing.  I know it sounds dumb, but I have been practicing my euphonium close to four or five hours a day for the past week and a half, and I have to say I thouroghly enjoy it.  Combine that with working over break, and I will be pretty busy.  But, such is life.  Its better than not having anything to do, that’s for sure.  I will be around for SIX weeks…isn’t that crazy?  Almost seems to long…

I stayed up all night last night playing piano because I had my piano playing final today, and, although playing piano at 3am, trying to keep your head from exploding is not the greatest thing in the world, I have to say it was well worth it.  I earned an 86%, and I passed the class. Horray!  I cant wait till next semester when I get to move onto piano/aural skills II.  I can already tell that’s going to be a blast..psh.

Christmas time is always a great time for me.  Everyone being so happy.  The snow shining off the ground.  People all bundled up, wishing it would get just a little bit warmer.  But, this year, there is no snow, its fifty degrees outside, and even though we are not more than two weeks away, it is hard to get into the spirit. Granted, this season has had its moments.  I have spent a few memories driving in my car listening to the Christmas music, enjoying what seems like “the most wonderful time of the year”.   But its just not the same as usual.

And that’s that.  Not a whole lot. Just a few random ramblings.  Hopefully I remember that I have this blog and I will use it more often.  Until next time.  J
